In something more akin to a sparring session than an actual fight, Vitali Klitschko plodded to a dull and uneventful decision win over Kevin Johnson in Switzerland this afternoon. Well, since I’m actually writing this while the bout is in the seventh round, I’m taking a bit of a leap but trust me, nothing is happening in this snooze fest. Vitali, at 39, appears to have begun an irrevocable decline and he would definitely appear vulnerable to a young lion like David Hayes. At this stage of his career he no longer jabs but just paws with his left and then looks to land a straight right hand. He has no other punch. No hook, no uppercut, nothing.

Kevin Johnson never attempted to compete, let alone win. He simply looked to survive. He is an immensely forgettable non-entity, but the bastard did cost me money.

Hey, it’s the tenth round and my stream just died. Oh, wait, its back.

I wish it didn’t come back. Why am I watching this? The division is dead.
