The living legend is as infamous as famous, the Hunter S Thompson of the soccer set…at Woodbine…in the first WONDEROUS GLORY makes his third start off the bench while dropping a couple of classifications…SKYLAND should edge Largo Lady in the second. The Danny Vella filly takes a real edge with the plunge, this off a commendable run Oct 19th at today’s distance…in the third SEASIDE VIEW returns to a suitable group after an ill advised excursion Oct 24th against pricey. Poetic Fan is a mystery, she’s practically being given away and we’ll approach with caution…Bob Tiller is on fire at the moment and we’ll leap on the bandwagon, backing his KY BLUZ GIRL in the fourth. Elkhart can round out a nice exactor…SEA SPICE was oh so close, giving it up in the final strides Oct 17th. The gelding drops a notch and should be winging it on the front end. Mr Cash In is an intriguing play, getting his first start after being dusted against a difficult group in Keenland…in the seventh we’ll try DASH IT DREAMER, third lifetime start with an equipment change. The Reade Baker competitor was swallowed up late by some of the best fillies on the ground In the Victoria Queen Stakes Oct 1st…Scott Fairlie has HEART OF COLD dropping off an even race in the seventh, improvement should be forthcoming…the eighth is scheduled for the lawn. After watching last night’s game, I would love to see three inning baseball. There’s a different feel to the game, a bit more urgency and aggressiveness.
