Rams Object To Perfect Pats
Is it just me, or is the whole Alex Ovechkin story kinda fishy? Plagued by horrible play this year the young superstar suddenly bolts for Russia, apparently to tend to an ailing grandparent. My bullshit detector is screeching…speaking of bizarre, whispers suggest Isiah Thomas was attempting to flee our mortal coil through an abundance of sleeping pills. The former Raptor executive has had a horrible year, losing a sexual harassment lawsuit (to the tune of 12 million bucks) and losing his job with the New York Knicks. But Isiah Thomas, attempting suicide? He just seems to have too much vanity for that act… love the St Louis Rams actions after the New England Patriots did not receive a single penalty during their Sunday clash: coach Jim Haslett has sent a tape of a series of uncalled fractions to the Leagues office for review…Woodbine - Bob Tiller has shown signs of life lately and it looks like he’s going for the jugular in the first with QUEEN BAMBI. The move to Pat Husbands maximizes the chance for success…in the second CORBIN’S BAY fits a non winners of two snugly. The Mark Casse charge is first time tagged and was full value for her Maiden score, resolutely overcoming obstacles in a wide trip through the lane…we’ll see if a punctual win by COOL HAND DUKE in the third signals a big night in store for the aforementioned Tiller. These are the kinds of races he used to win by the bushel…SERGEANT MATT is a long shot play in the fourth. The gelding could be set for a move forward after a nice even run at a higher classification…MIAMI BLING is afforded massive class relief in the fifth. As the cold weather arrives we can expect to see similar plunges as owners look to avoid the costs associated with keeping the animal in Ontario through the winter or the costs of shipping down south…LUVYOUTOTHEMOON is an accomplished fresh runner, a key as he makes his first start in five months in the sixth. His strength meshes with that of his trainer and he should be a terror against slower foes…8k cheapies are back in the seventh. AIR WILD is a bit of an in and outer these days but he should benefit from the aggressive placement in here. Caturiana and Moro Moo are interesting prospects to fill the place and show spots…in the final, FAPPIES MITTERAND does not have the execrable habits of some of the others, just off his maiden score, and he has prospects for doubling up. I’ll try Fighting Warrior and Circle Bound as a couple of outsider plays that may spice up the exotics…
